The 2026 Kentucky Wine & Vine Fest Weekend is a celebration of Kentucky’s thriving wine industry, in the charming downtown district of one of Kentucky’s most historic cities, Nicholasville, Kentucky — just a few minutes south of Lexington. It’s our 23rd year and we are excited to be adding some new wineries to the line up!
On Saturday, browse the booths of Kentucky wineries to sip, savor and enjoy the Kentucky good life at the Kentucky Wine & Vine Fest! Enjoy art displays, Kentucky crafts, delectable food, inflatables for the kids, and more! Also, test your talent at the Run for the Merlot and Wine Toss. So many amazing activities in one location.

What's Happening?
The 2026 Kentucky Wine & Vine Fest Weekend is a celebration of Kentucky’s thriving wine industry. It’s held in historic Jessamine County, Kentucky, the site of North America’s first commerical winery founded by John James Dufour in 1799 — just a few minutes south of Lexington. The venue is outside under large white tents and only service animals allowed. We’ll see you at the festival! From Historic locations, local theater, new restaurants, amazing wines and more! This is an evening that will make a lasting memory for years to come.
Wineries will be set up at the dessert venue for you to purchase your new favorite locally made Kentucky wine!
Saturday's Main Event
It’s our 23rd Year of this amazing festival ! Join us on Saturday, browse the booths of Kentucky wineries from across the state to sip and savor as you enjoy the Kentucky Wine & Vine Fest from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Enjoy many Kentucky Arts & Crafts Vendors, Food Vendors, Run for the Merlot, Wine Toss and inflatables for the kids. Wine Tasting Tickets are $25 ea. There is a $5 admission fee to enter the event, kids 5 and under are free. Parking is FREE!We hope you’re staying for the weekend! 3rd Annual Event
Get ready for an evening Downtown Nicholasville. You will enjoy a casual stroll to restaurants, our visitor center, the local theater production and more!
Your evening will begin at the Visit Jessamine building. A historic location that was the 1st Jail in Jessamine County. Hear about local history, tour jail cells, if you dare, and enjoy a delicious cocktail from Ghost Fox Winery.
Next stop is KCAL! Step back in time and listen to a unique Old Time Radio Show about our local wineries while you savor the flavors of your chosen wine and delight in the Charcuterie skewers of delicious food.
Onto the next stop. We will stroll down the street and see artistry master pieces of murals and our newest restaurant, Taste of Ukraine, that will be providing a portion of the dessert. We will stop at Soul on Main for your entree. This new restaurant that opened in the fall has brought much life and excitement to our Downtown. Delectable food, amazing atmosphere and the perfect spot to enjoy time with friends and family. Your entree will be paired with three wine tastings and you can purchase a glass of your favorite wine.
Now that you are relishing in the amazing dinner, we will continue our tour to Mercantile Coffee & Feed, our newest coffee & sandwich shop. You will be treated to two tantalizing desserts and three dessert wines. One dessert prepared by Taste of Ukraine and one by Mercantile Coffee & Feed.
Once you have consumed those amazing wines and desserts you have the opportunity to purchase your favorite wine (or two) of the evening.
